IBM COGNOS BI SUPPORT CONSULTANT

Inca’s professional services division is home to the most experienced performance management team in the UK, having implemented IBM Cognos solutions for over 400 companies across all industry sectors.
Due to significant growth and increased demand throughout the UK we have an opportunity for the successful applicant to join our support division in the role of BI Consultant.
Based out of Inca’s HQ in Egham Surrey and displaying a proven track record of Support, the successful applicant will join an established team reporting to Inca’s Helpdesk Manager.
The core function of the role will be providing technical support to the customers of Inca software whose products are the Cognos BI suite primarily Report Studio, Framework Manager, Query Studio and Metrics Studio.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for dealing with customer issues and the subsequent cross training of other members of the Inca helpdesk team.

Skill-sets required:
- Knowledge of Cognos 8 Report Studio, Framework Manager, Metrics Studio, Query Studio
- Microsoft Operating System environments. Client + Server
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 or other database platforms for example DB2 or Oracle
Desirable skills would include:
- Knowledge of finance packages,Previous IBM Cognos such as Series 7 and/or experience of other technologies
- Data Manager experience would be beneficial but not essential
