Inca Trail Blazer
Kristiane Kronsbein, Project Manager at the RSPCA and customer of Inca successfully walked the Inca Trail to the 'Lost City of the Incas' on Machu Picchu, Peru this summer to raise money for the animal welfare charity.
Passing through the Andes mountains and the Amazon rainforest, the Inca Trail leads to the 'Lost City of the Incas' on Machu Picchu at 2,400 meters (7,875 ft). The Inca Trail is a physically challenging hike of 40km which requires a steep trek up mountain trails via remote villages, and typically takes three or four days to complete. "In addition to the promise of the wonderful sight of Machu Picchu, the knowledge that my climb can make a real difference to animal welfare will keep me going!" Kristiane commented.
